Today we hit a concert in the park near us, it happened to be Hawaiian music and dancing. I really loved their explanations for the songs and what they sang about. For example, one song was all about seaweed they ate. I didn’t understand the words of course but the dancing was very interesting. I liked the idea of doing a dance for your food. What is your favorite food? How could you show that in a dance? How about something spicy? Something cold? Something comforting? What would you name your dance? Maybe we should all have to dance before a meal, like saying a prayer. I bet it will taste a lot better too. Needless to say, we have been dancing a lot today.

Then we hit the famous Musuem of the Rockies. They have one of the biggest collections of dinosaur fossils and different varieties, because they were all found in Montana. Owen was in heaven here. It was very interesting to everyone actually. Owens favorite part was a statue outside the building however.
We visited an old gold mining town, Virginia City, that is now a fun touring site. The kids took old time pictures and panned for gold (they found some too!).
A few days in someone in are party saw a skunk scurry underneath the porch of our house. We continued to see a few skunks and realized there was a nest under our porch with 2 babies and a mommy skunk! I was actually excited to see these cute little guys. The other adults, not so much. Happy to say no one got sprayed.
